Assembly was easy enough and the bed has wooden slat construction making it very sturdy and stable. The wood is also lightweigh and I was easily able to move it around from room to room. The white paint finish also looks good and I like knowing it is non-toxic (it was made in China). I was afraid the side railings may not be long enough to keep my daughter contained at night so I put blankets and pillows down around it. This proved unnecessary though because she never had any problems. I would purchase this item again and I may do that for her grandparent's house!
