(More customer reviews)I bought this lamp online after seeing it in BabiesRUs & knowing that it was small and a little cheap looking.However, it is very cute and of course goes great with the rainforest theme I have in my new daughter's room.The main thing I don't like about it is that there's too much green.I'm planning to paint the base red (or yellow) which I think will make all the difference.The shade is plastic and you have to get one of the small/compact fluorescent bulbs in order to not see it poking out of the top.

I wanted mostly to write this review to praise Amazon!The first lamp I received was damaged during shipment.I contacted Amazon, a new one was sent out immediately, and they provided a return shipping label.This is a wonderful example of EXCELLENT customer service!I also have an Amazon Kindle 2 (which I looooove) and yesterday the screen on it just went black.Again, I called Amazon and they are sending me a new one which I'll have tomorrow, and paying for the shipment of the return.I've had so many wonderful experiences shopping through Amazon, I just thought it was worth mentioning...way to go, you have a dedicated customer!
