I tried.)Nursing mothers know that if you want to leave your house during those first few months,you will have to nurse in public be it your car, a restaurant, or even the beach.The peanut shell is stylish and looks like a cape.I quickly learned that people are completely oblivious to what you are doing.

At about 6 months I could not longer use the cover when nursing because my daughter kept pushing it aside; however, by that point her schedule was such that I rarely found myself having to nurse her outside our home.

This product is also perfect for the working/pumping mother.You're locked in your office or classroom hoping no one walks in.I don't know about you but my teaching colleagues were full of horror stories.I use my peanut shell as a "privacy shield" when pumping just in case.
